Os dejo el directo de "Poor Paul Getty" la canción habla del nieto de Paul Getty el cual fue fundador de Getty Oil y fue de los primeros del mundo en manejar una fortuna de mas de 1.000 millones de dolares. La Historia habla de John Paul Getty III uno de los 14 nietos de este señor. El  chico fue secuestrado y su avuelo se negó a pagar hasta que recibió la oreja del chico y eso le hizo decidirse así que finalmente el chico fue liberado.

Argumento que inicialmente se negó a pagar porque tenia 14 nietos y que se podría producir una replica del secuestro.

Los directos de esta banda suenan fantásticos y desde luego te puedes quedar hipnotizado viendo como tocan (sobre todo si tu tocas algún instrumento) . 

En el minuto 14 mas o menos de este video nos encontraremos con la nueva canción que sacaron "Meteor Eaters, la guitarra de esta canción capta tu atención en 3 segundos lo que hace que tenga unas ganas enormes de escuchar una versión de estudio.

Mientras seguimos cogiendo energía para lo que queda de semana vamos hablar de "Comic Strip", Canción original de Serge Gainsbourg cantada por  Brigite Bardot, por entonces pareja de este.

Debo decir que  de la versión original solo he escuchado fragmentos y en anuncios, por mi edad es una canción que me queda un tanto lejos.

Normalmente y por culpa de algún artista mediocre le tengo pánico a las versiones, en los últimos años parece que a la gente no le gusta esforzarse y deciden destrozar canciones ajenas.

pero de vez encunado te encuentras con artistas (como es el caso) que hacen unas versiones sorprendentes, llevanadose la canción a su terreno y dándole un giro, un giro que si afinas el oído te permite recordarte de que lo que estas escuchando es una versión.

En esta canción colabora Matthieu Chédid tambien conocido como "M"

La versión me encanta aunque debo reconocer que al principio me chocaba un poco y que incluso puse la pausa al vídeo y pensé en alejarme jajaja pero recapacite y seguí escuchando.

Adoro la música francesa así que es genial que dos cosas que te gustan se unan.

Bienvenidos todos a mi nuevo blog sobre The Goastt ( por si no estaba muy claro XD)

Llegué a este grupo gracias a Sean, decir que la película "Un monstruo En París" me gusta seria poco. Me llamo mucho La atención su tono de voz, normalmente no se oyen voces masculinas tan agudas. 

 Vivía en modo repetición con la banda sonora de la película hasta que descubrí su disco Frendly Fire (hablaremos de todo esto mas adelante el camino es largo )  que saco en el 2006 y la versión en francés de "Parachute" llamada "L'Eclipse".

Y después de investigar un poco mas  llegué a ellos, al principio me sonaron extraños ya que no es la música que suelo escuchar, lo que me llevo a escucharlos mas detenidamente  fue la voz de Charlotte y lo bien que quedaba con la de sean ,hacen sin duda un buen equipo.

Espero que disfrutéis en el blog siento haberos puesto una parrafada para empezar, este blog obviamente no es oficial aunque si esta hecho con mucho cariño.
